After last July’s meeting in London, it was time to meet in Barcelona to continue making headway on the tasks assigned to each CRISS member.
The project is advancing very well and the group brought their ideas together to further define the theoretical model for the acquisition of digital competences in primary and secondary education. These compentences are based on the European framework for the Digital Competences for Citizens, developed by the European Union.
Another key point was the presentation of the technological tool developed to enable the creation of the classroom activities utilized by teachers. This was an opportunity to clarify technical doubts and refine the pedagogical creation process.
In addition, another noteworthy achievement of the meeting was the clarification of doubts and definition of improvements to be applied in the areas of the final validation and accreditation of the model.
The overall assessment of this meeting has been quite positive, especially in terms of the commitment and motivation of each member. These representatives of their respective educational communities are the cornerstone of this ambitious project which is destined to become the reference in the practical application of the theoretical framework of classroom digital competences as defined by the European Union.
This meeting in Barcelona was held in the facilities of the Universidad Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), an educational center respected as a prestigious leader in innovation, and our member responsible for the validation of the theoretical framework to be established.
